Greer Middle College to host 24-hour play fest
Greer Middle College’s Fine Arts Department is hosting a 24-hour play festival on Saturday, November 20, at 7 p.m. at 138 W McElhaney Road, Taylors.
Presented by The FirePit Players, the Blazing Arts Production will feature around 60 GMC students writing, directing, rehearsing, performing and producing short plays all in 24 hours.
Governor makes a stop at GMC
South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster, along with South Carolina Public Charter School District Superintendent Chris Neeley visited Greer Middle College Charter High (GMC) last week.
School Choice lottery opens Nov. 15
Greenville County Schools’ Change in Assignment (CIA) School Choice Lottery Window will be available from Monday, Nov. 15, through Wednesday, Dec. 1, where parents can submit a choice form for up to three schools for their child at their number one choice school.
NEXT High opens 2022-23 enrollment
NEXT High School, a South Carolina public charter high school, has opened enrollment for the Fall 2022 semester.
Applicants should apply online at www.nexthighschool.org/enroll.

All food items will be donated to Greer Relief.
