Area photographer celebrates National School Picture Day

September 14, 2023, is national school picture day, a day designated to celebrate the long-standing tradition of students and schools taking individual and group photographs of students for school safety initiatives, yearbooks, school IDs, and for personal use by students and their families.
Greenville County test scores outperform state
Greenville County Schools (GCS) test scores have recently shown that Greenville County elementary and middle schools significantly outperformed the state in all subject areas.
High school test scores, at press time, had not yet been released by the South Carolina Department of Education.
Greer teen shares views on Covid-19, state of education

Open house
Current students and their families were invited to an Open House at Bonds Career Center on Thursday. Attendees were able to tour the school and meet teachers, administrator, and other staff, as well as get a behind the scenes look at some of the school’s class offerings.
North Greenville to offer Seal of Biliteracy credit
North Greenville University (NGU) will now offer credit to high school students who have earned the Seal of Biliteracy. NGU is the first higher education institution in South Carolina to make this offer to grade students.
