Area bands place in tourney

Greer and Blue Ridge High Schools took top honors for their respective classes during the C. Phillip McIntyre Tournament of Bands held at Byrnes High on Saturday.
The Greer High Corps of Cadets placed first in Class 3A with best color guard, percussion and music. Eastside placed third in the same class.
