Furman Band Concert

Furman University’s Marching Band, The Paladin Regiment, will present its annual Band Extravaganza concert Friday, Sept. 30, at 8 p.m. in McAlister Auditorium.
Hub City Empty Bowls’s annual Soup Day, a grassroots fundraiser to help feed local hungry people, will be held Saturday, Oct. 15, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at Chapman Cultural Center.

The annual Friends of Lake Robinson “Day of Celebration” is scheduled for 1-6 p.m. this Sunday at J. Verne Smith Park, 2544 Mays Bridge Road, Greer.
“It’s just a great family time,” said Tom Faulkner, President of Friends of Lake Robinson. “It’s truly a celebration of what the lake means to our community.”
