Summer is synonymous with many things, including family vacations and relaxing days at the beach. For foodies, perhaps nothing evokes the spirit of summer more effectively than grilled foods.
Lyman Movie Nights begin Thursday
The Town of Lyman will begin its summer Movie Nights series on Thursday, June 2, with an outdoor screening of “Encanto” in the amphitheater.
The event and refreshments are free.
The movie begins at dusk (8:30 p.m.).
In case of rain, the movie will be cancelled.
Remaining Movie Nights will include:

It's a bird!
Jay Keck from the South Carolina Wildlife Federation led 20 local residents on a Bird Walk Friday morning. The group identified various birds through sound and sight, but also found a snake or two along the way.
Glass exhibit on display
Upstate artist Judy Martin wants visitors to her latest exhibition, “Reflections in Glass: Relax and Smile” through June 18 in Gallery III of the Artists Collective | Spartanburg, to do just that–relax, smile, enjoy and hope.
