Blue Ridge girls celebrate year with Character Ball

The Blue Ridge Chapter of “Girl Talk,” a national nonprofit which aims to relieve the struggles of middle and high school girls, hosted its third annual Character Ball last Friday.
The Character Ball, held each May, includes dancing, desserts and guest speakers.
