City of Greer to celebrate its railroad heritage

The City of Greer has forever been tied to the railroad.

From its early depot that served as a stop on a line from Charlotte to Atlanta to Inland Port Greer that is today served by the Norfolk Southern Railway, the city wears the tracks that traverse it like well-earned wrinkles.
