That’s the message from Greer’s three main nonprofits this week as the community deals with the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Greer Soup Kitchen, Greer Relief and Greer Community Ministries were back to business on Monday, serving local residents through a number of different programs.

Those were the words of professional rodeo announcer Keith Monk, who has introduced Stokes to rodeo audiences across the southeast for more than a decade.
Jim Fowler, author of two photographic guides to wildflowers in the Carolinas, has reason to celebrate with the Postal Service’s Feb. 21st release of its new issue of stamps.
The stamps feature 10 photographs of wild orchids taken by Fowler, a native of Bennettsville and a longtime resident of Greenville.
Members of the Korean War Veterans Association, Foothills Chapter No. 301, recently celebrated the group’s 15th anniversary.
Organization of the Foothills chapter began in the Spring of 2004. The group received its Charter on Feb. 7, 2005, which included 19 charter members from Greenville and surrounding communities.
Back in 2010, I was in a Greenville Barnes and Noble when I found a photo-book titled “ASYLUM: Inside the Closed World of State Mental Hospitals.”
America’s Got Talent finalists Jonathan and Trisha Hawley are bringing their magic show to Tryon.
Hawley Magic will take place on at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 14 at the Tryon Fine Arts Center in North Carolina.
