Lauren Nicole Jeffords, of Simpsonville, and Joel Glen Atkins, of Taylors, were united in holy matrimony by the Rev. Russ Shinpoch, during a 2 p.m. ceremony on May 14, 2016, at the First Baptist Church in Simpsonville.
Kamryn Nicole Mathis, of Greer, was crowned Wee Miss South Carolina in the Little Miss & Teen Miss South Carolina Pageant held in Hartsville recently.
The pageant had 162 contestants from across South Carolina compete during the week.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fowler, of 4141 North Highway 14, Greer, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a drop-in hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Colby Fowler and family on June 5 at the Ministry Center of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. The couple was married June 3, 1966.

Edna Johnson, resident of Patewood Nursing and lifelong resident of Greer, celebrated her 105th birthday on April 1, 2016.
She has two children, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchidlren and one great-great-granchild.

Cora Berry turned 103 on March 6. She is a Greer native. She had multiple visitors at Alpha Health and Rehab on her special day.
Cliff Harpst, of Greer, celebrated his 90th birthday on March 1 with a party at Stomping Grounds Coffee and Wine Bar on Feb. 27.
As a gift to the community, Harpst auctioned off his candles in support of Greer Community Ministries. The 90 candles sold for a total of $126.
