Demolition approved for Tire Exchange

Plans to demolish the old Tire Exchange building and construct a new hotel in its North Main Street footprint are moving forward, following a Board of Architectural Review meeting Tuesday morning.
The board unanimously approved Sycamore Greer LLC’s demolition request, marking the start of larger effort.
