GPC accepts Oakton plan

The Greer Planning Commission approved the preliminary plat for Oakton subdivision on East Gap Creek Road Monday night.
The development, which would house 92 units on about 29 acres, was given the ‘OK’ by a 3-2 vote with the provision of access to designated open spaces.
Commissioners Judy Jones and Brian Martin were opposed.
