Voters decide on sales tax

A proposed penny sales tax increase will be on the ballot in the general election this Tuesday for Greenville County voters.
Greenville County Council opted to let a referendum on the matter go to voters earlier this year. If passed, the tax hike will increase the sales tax in Greenville County by 1 percent for eight years.
