Wine and Beer Boutique to open in The Depot

La Bouteille, a Tryon-based boutique, is opening their second location in downtown Greer.  
 
“We have always loved Greer. We’ve been looking at spaces on Trade Street for two to three years. Then this space became available and we are really glad it did,” owner Shelly Block said. “I love small communities. We chose Greer because of the small town community feeling and we want to plug into that. We want to build relationships and become the place you stop on your way home from work or when preparing for a party.”  
 
La Bouteille will feature a selection of over two hundred wines and European and craft beers. The store's wine selection will range from value wines to Silver Oak, and mix and match cases of select wines are available. Local North Carolina brewery Bottle Tree will be featured alongside European imports like Chimay and Unibroue. The shop’s selection will rotate.  
 
La Bouteille is located in the historic Depot at 300 Randall Street, Suite B. A grand opening celebration with a free wine and beer tasting, hors d’oeuvres, and ribbon cutting will be held Thursday, Sept. 10, from 5-7 p.m.

“Just as we have loved being part of the Tryon, North Carolina, community for the last five years, we look forward to another exciting chapter in our future with this second location, and getting to know the people of Greer and sharing our passion for good wine and craft beer with the Greer community,” Block said.
