Greer Commission of Public Works’ (CPW) natural gas department recently received the System Operational Achievement Recognition (SOAR) silver level award.

On Sunday around 4 p.m., Greenville County Coroner’s Office recovered Chuck Gilbert Shelton, 38, from Lake Cunningham. He was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.

Two individuals are now in custody at Spartanburg County Detention Center after shooting and killing Rashard Wright, 19, at Culpepper Landing Apartments in Duncan on July 8.
Wright, a Byrnes High School graduate and football player who had just graduated a month prior, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital that night.
