Jerry Dean Wheeler

Jerry Dean Wheeler, 56, of Greer, passed away May 25, 2020.

A native of Marietta, Georgia, he was a son of Willie “Eddie” Edwin Wheeler and the last Doris Jean Atkins Wheeler; an employee of Benore Logistics and a member of Sharon United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife Teresa Pearson Wheeler of the home; one daughter, Stefanie L. Brown of Greer; two sons, Steven M. Wheeler of Greer and Jimmy Odom of Duncan; one sister, Cynthia McCall of Gaffney; and three grandchildren, Blake, Justin and Wyatt.

He was also predeceased by one brother, Jimmy Wheeler and his step-mother Diane Wheeler.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2020, at Sharon United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Gryff Carosiello.

Pallbearers will be Jim Claurdy, Robert Arnold, Matt Simmon, Mike Brown, Jody Blackshire and Dana Harvel.

The family respectfully requests memorials be made to Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
