Louise Jones Boswell

Louise Jones Boswell, 83, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017, at McCall Hospice House.

A native of Greenville County, a daughter of the late Malcolm Stewart and Thalia Neely Jones; she was the widow of Hughes Kenneth “Ken” Boswell, who passed away July 6; a retired employee of Liberty Life Payroll Department and a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Karen Boswell Blakeney (Scott Alan) of Travelers Rest; a son, Boyce Boswell (Deborah Gosnell Boswell) of Inman, four grandchildren, Kenneth Bradford Blakeney, Andrew Boswell Blakeney, Sarah Katherine Blakeney and Scott Clark and two great-grandchildren, Zoey Marie Blakeney and Eva Clark. In addition to her husband, she was also predeceased by a sister, Nelle Eugenia Tosland.

Funeral services for Louise Jones Boswell and her husband, Hughes Kenneth “Ken” Bowell, were held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Dr. Doug Mize and Mrs. Dottie Bryson. Burial followed in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation was held 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, July 10, 2017, at the mortuary.

Pallbearers were Tommy Williams, Paul Lister, Donald Guy, Tim Thorne and Butch Miller.
