Pamela B. Jenkins

Pamela Boehnlein Jenkins, 69, of Greer, SC passed away on April 20, 2019 after battling cancer with faith and grace. Her selfless disposition through life held true in her final days as her concern was for the loved ones she was leaving behind.

Born to Frank and Evelyn Boehnlein in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 20, 1949, Pam grew up in the Price Hill area.

Not surprisingly she was thought of as the “Work Mom” to many coworkers at Greenville County EMS. She retired in 2015 after thirty years of service. She and her husband Allen spent much of their time after retirement with their dear friends in Vero Beach, Florida. Pam was of the Episcopal Faith.

Pam is survived by her husband, Ingrid “Allen” Jenkins and three daughters, Sarah Odom (Jeff), Susan Crump (Kenny), and Katie Poteet (Craig). She was known affectionately as “MawMaw” to her four grandsons, Hunter Odom (Amber), Zack Odom, Clay Poteet, and Cannon Poteet. Surviving are also her mother, Evelyn Klosterman; a sister, Marsha Oeffinger (Tom); and two brothers Jack Boehnlein (Patti) and Tommy Boehnlein (Kim). Her brothers-in-law Robert Jenkins (Judi) and Ken Jenkins (Janice) survive her.

Mrs. Jenkins was predeceased by her father, Frank Boehnlein, and a brother, Brian Boehnlein.

A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2019 at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Father Michael Schnatterly of the Church of the Good Shepherd.

Visitation will be held 2:30-3:45 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.

The family is at the home.
