Pauline “Polly” Wade

Pauline (Polly) Whitfield Wade, 93, widow of James B. (J.B.) Wade, passed away February 1, 2021.

A native of Banks County, GA, daughter of the late Pierce P. and Alene Ayers Whitfield, she was a homemaker, a member of Fairview Baptist Church and Woodman of the World.

Surviving are two sons, Reggie Wade (Janet) of Greer, Rudy Wade (Susan) of Duncan; one brother, Ray Whitfield of Greer; one sister, Betty Cudd of Greer; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private. The body will lie in state Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 3:30-7 p.m. at The Wood Mortuary.

The family will be at their respective homes.
