Robert L. Brannon

Robert Lavern Brannon, 96, of Greer, went home to be with the Lord January 13, 2019. A native of Liberty, SC, he was the last surviving child of the late Joe and Ila Brannon, and a retired employee of J.P. Stevens Victor Mill. Surviving are his wife, Virginia Bryant Brannon of the home; three children, Brenda Smith, Larry Brannon and Sandra “Cindy” Brannon; two granddaughters, Amy Zamora and Sueann Marshall; seven great-grandchildren, Josh, Lia, Angel, Carlos, Sabrina, Chris, and John; and two great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2019 at Wood Memorial Park, conducted by Mr. Larry Snellson. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2019 at The Wood Mortuary. The family is at the home of Virginia Brannon, 102 Rhett Street, Greer, SC 29651.
