Shirley L. Blackwell

Shirley Lemmons Blackwell, 82, widow of Winfred Blackwell, passed away October 29, 2017.

A native of Westminster, daughter of the late Leon A. and Alice Mason Lemmons, she was a member of Memorial Drive Baptist Church, formerly known as Second Baptist Church of Greer.

Surviving are three sons, Donald K. Paris (Christie) of Woodruff, James Paris (Brenda) of Inman and Timothy L. Paris of Spartanburg; a daughter, Shirley L. Long of Charleston; one brother, Willard “Bill” Lemmons of Greer; nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Blackwell was predeceased by three brothers, C.A. Lemmons, Harold G. Lemmons and Bobby W. Lemmons, Sr.

Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Wayne Lovett and Rev. T.J. Marcus.  Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Memorial Drive Baptist.
