Wilda Corley Martin French

Wilda Corley Martin French, 77, of Lexington, South Carolina passed away March 6, 2017 at her home. She was born on March 11, 1939 in North Augusta, South Carolina to Joseph Lawton Corley and Iva Mae Dobbins Corley.

She was a native of Greer, SC and a graduate of the 1957 class of Greer High School. Later in life, she moved to the Columbia area. She retired from the automotive business as an office manager.

Wilda is survived by her son, Fletcher W. “Will” Martin, Jr (Cassy); four grandchildren, Ben Hevia, Breann Weed (Matt), Zane Martin and Paige Lann; two great grandchildren, Matthew and Caden; sister, Jimmie Anne Dacus; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fletcher W. Martin, Sr; her daughter, Lauren Martin; and her brother, Fred Corley.

Graveside funeral services were at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, South Carolina, 29209 on Friday, March 10 at 1 p.m. Interment followed in the cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
