Dale Emery Pittman, 82, wife of the late Billy Lee Pittman, passed away November 5, 2022.

A native of Landrum, daughter of the late Albert and Annie Plumley Emery, she was a retired employee of Steel Heddle, a graduate of Draughon’s Business College, and a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.

Reverend Doctor Thomas Esse Burns of Greer went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 31, 2022.

Born in Greenville on October 26, 1950, he was the son of James Edward and Doris Bridwell Burns.

Betty Jean Burgess Rice, 79, wife of the late Melvin Spencer Rice, passed away October 30, 2022.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Ted and Frances Etheleign Wood Burgess, she was a retired bookkeeper for Mountain View Family Practice and a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.

Martha Beggs Hammond, 88, of Greer, South Carolina died peacefully on October 30, 2022. She was born on August 8,1934 in Elberton, Georgia to the late Robert Elzie Beggs Jr. and Aurie Dickerson Beggs.
