Jo Ann Billings Hardin Pollard, of Greer, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 31, 2020 after a five year battle with cancer. She was the widow of J.B. Pollard.

A native of Polk County, North Carolina and the daughter of the late John Elijah and Ruby Fowler Billings. She was a Christian and a member of Greer Church of God.

William Larry McSwain, 71, formerly of 300 Wilson Street, Greer, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020.

Born September 18, 1948, he was the son of the late William Howard McSwain and Minnie L. McSwain. He attended Calvary Hill Baptist Church and was a veteran of the US Army and the National Guard, having served in Vietnam.

Doris Ford Hodge, 85, wife of 63 years to the late Charles T. Hodge, of Greer, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020. Born in Spartanburg, she was the daughter to the late Walter Ford and Anna Bright Ford.

She was a member of Apalache Baptist Church.

David Stephen “Steve” Davis passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on July 21, 2020 at the age of 72.

Wayne Daniel Evans, 72, of Waterboro, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020. Born in Greer, he was the son of the late Leasel and Gladys Red Evans and the husband of the late Ginger Rebecca Moon Evans and Patricia Peincarro Evans. He was a member of O’Neal Church of God.

Rev. Dan Leon Smith, 87, passed away July 14, 2020 after a brief battle with cancer.

Doris Vaughn Dill, 85, of Taylors, wife of late William Hubert Dill passed away on July 12, 2020. They were married for 64 years.

Dewey “Skin” Hobson Williams, Jr., 97, widower of Margaret Jeanette Henson Williams, passed away July 10, 2020.
