Wellford man dies in I-85 crash

A Wellford motorcyclist was killed during a collision on Interstate 85 last Friday afternoon.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office said Frank Austin Smith, 36, struck an automobile from behind and was ejected from his bike at around 1:21 a.m.
He was pronounced dead on scene due to blunt force trauma.
