A Spartanburg man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for a series of crimes that included the attempted murder of three sheriff’s deputies who pursued him in reference to drug and weapon offenses.

The South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation’s South Carolina Fire Academy graduated 22 recruits from its eight-week firefighter candidate school in Columbia last Friday.
These firefighters underwent a 320-hour training program of classroom and hands-on firefighting skills development.
A Spartanburg man will spend the next 32 years in prison after shooting and killing his wife in 2018.
Adrian D. McClintock, 44, pleaded guilty to murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
