This was a landmark year for New River Bluegrass, the native six-piece Greer band consisting of Barry Long (banjo, dobro), Mike Johnson (guitar), Dwayne Brown (bass), Mike Mullins (mandolin), Chuck Price (fiddle) and Andy Smith (guitar).
