Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 3, Riverside Baptist Church will be hosting Dave Ramsey’s “Financial Peace University,” a nine-week course on finances. The cost is $93.
Springwell Church is breaking into the music business, creating its own music for worship.
On August 24, Springwell Worship will debut its first CD, “I Am the Church,” which features five original songs written and performed by the church’s worship team.

Abner Creek Baptist Church will host a children’s musical performance titled: “Jailhouse Rocks: Shake, Rattle, and Roll” on Sunday, Aug. 17 at 6 p.m.
It will be an upbeat musical that teaches children that true freedom comes from being born again through Christ Jesus.
Back to school

St. Mark United Methodist Church in Taylors will host a back to school celebration weekend beginning Friday, Aug. 8 and lasting through Sunday, Aug. 10.

Through the din of hammers and saws, under a blue sky and warm sunshine, 85 volunteers and friends gathered in a Taylors field last week with a common purpose: “Uniting God’s People for His Mission and His Glory.”
