Blue Ridge names field for former head baseball coach

Blue Ridge High School named its baseball field for a decorated former head coach Tuesday night.
Now known as “Jerry Henson Field,” the Tigers’ home turf was dedicated at a ceremony honoring current players.
A lifelong resident of the Blue Ridge Community, Henson is a 1962 honor graduate of Blue Ridge High School.
