It was the summer of 1957.
The local mills were bustling, Greer was a much smaller community and the Post 115 team was on its way to making history.
Thursday night, that team reunited, celebrating its run to the American Legion World Series.
“It was great,” Former player Steve Brown said. “It meant the world to us.”
