Spartanburg handed Byrnes its first loss of the season last Thursday night at Nixon Field.
Both teams were undefeated heading into the contest, but the Vikings pulled away by a final score of 17-7.
For Spartanburg, the win ended a 14-game losing streak against the Rebels that dates back to 2001.
