A local nonprofit is looking to restock its food pantry shelves as summer arrives.

“Summer is hard on the pantry with the kids home from school, so we make sure to give more this time of year,” the nonprofit tweeted this week. “Let us know if you are interested in also hosting a food drive. We are looking for year round support.”

With the summer temperatures heating up it’s really important to keep seniors cool.

The City of Greer’s Moonlight Movie series, sponsored by T-mobile, kicks off with Frozen 2 on June 10.
The series will also include such animated hits as The Secret Life of Pets 2 and Toy Story 4.

The City of Greer Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a summer magic camp in June.

This camp will be held at the Victor Gym and is for students aged 7-13 years old.

Each camp session is strictly limited to 20 participants to maximize one-on-one instruction time.
