Q: Our daughter recently moved back in with us after she lost her job and her apartment. She hasn’t been able to find full-time work yet, and she had nowhere else to go. My husband and I are nearing retirement age, so we want to do the best and smartest thing to help her get back on her feet. What do you suggest?

In the first few moments of daylight, the spring woods come to life with all the old familiar sounds. Birds of every variety begin warming up their voices in the still darkness before dawn, and are now singing loudly the morning chorus.

Rugby Camp set for April 24

Players and coaches from Clemson University, the Greenville Griffins and South Greenville Rugby are partnering with the City of Greer on April 24 to hold a “Try Rugby Camp” that will teach youth the basics of the game and showcase the reason for its current popularity.

Family Dollar back open in Greer

Family Dollar recently celebrated a Grand Re-opening at 1016 S. Main Street, Greer, following a renovation.

The store will now include $1 Dollar Tree merchandise, additional freezers and coolers and an expanded selection of food, beauty and essentials, household products and seasonal items.
