Tunes in the Park, Greer Idol begin Saturday
Greer Idol and Greer Idol Jr. begin on Saturday, May 20, at Greer City Park during Tunes in the Park. Greer Cultural Arts has released bios of contestants in both competitions.
Greer Cultural Arts issues Call for Artists
Greer Cultural Arts Council is seeking artists for its upcoming Juneteenth National Independence Day exhibit.
The City of Greer Center for the Arts gallery will be highlighting the artwork of local artists in June and July.
Each artist may submit up to six pieces of 2D artwork, no larger than 48-inches in any direction.
Final Pet Idol event set in Greer
The 12th and final Bring Your Dog Downtown/Pet Idol event will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 5-8 p.m., in Greer City Park.
Admission is free, but registration is encouraged by visiting buytickets.at/sbthcas/915376.
A Dog Parade through the park will begin at 6 p.m. with a Pet Idol contest starting at 7 p.m. in the amphitheater.
Color run fun
The Byrnes High F.I.G.H.T. Club hosted a D5 Community Health and Wellness event on Friday at Tyger River Park. The celebration included a Color Fun Run and 5K along with other activities, including bubbles.
Gallery to show rotating exhibits
Premier Arts Collective (PAC) is partnering with Elliot Davis and Camperdown Greenville to curate the art within the Falls Tower Lobby as well as the common outdoor space, Camperdown Plaza Art Walk.
