Janie Plumley, 88, went to be with the Lord and Savior, Saturday morning, September 17, 2022, at the home of Inez and Ted Morgan.

Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Johnie and Ola Pruitt Plumley. She worked as a weaver in a textile mill and was a member of Mountain Hill Community Church.

William “Bill” Eugene Batson went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at the age of 78 years old. He was the son of the late Herman Batson and Ruby Tumblin.

Bill was a lover of Christ and devout Baptist. He also loved hunting, fishing, golf, and his family. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him.

A native of Franklin County, Georgia, and a daughter of the late Kermit J. and Ada Bruce South, she was a retired employee of Greenville County Schools and a lifelong member of Taylors First Baptist Church.

A native of New York and long-time resident of Greer, Cathie was born March 30, 1961, and was the widow of Keith Armstrong (1959-2019).

She was a former employee at TD Bank and member of Washington Baptist Church.

Peggy Center, 87, of Greer, SC, died on September 14, 2022, after a stroke. Born in Taylors, SC in 1934 to the late Lucy Turk Boling and James Theo (Dutch) Boling, she suffered from debilitating childhood illnesses including Whooping Cough and Scarlett Fever.
