On Friday around 1:30 p.m., Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) responded to the Tadpole Fish Camp in reference to a burglary.
The structure was destroyed in a fire on April 29, and according to the owner of the building, Shannon Moody, no one had been inside the totaled restaurant since Tuesday, May 9.
Richard Adam Boiter, 36, of Greer, was arrested by Greer Police Department on May 5 for Driving Under the Influence.
The incident occurred on Depot Street in Greer.
While on patrol of the area, the officer approached a bar, as several people began flagging the officer down in regard to a drunk driver.
On Friday morning, the Greer Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire at 104 McDaniel Avenue in Greer.
Automatic aid companies from Pelham-Batesville Fire Department responded to the emergency as well.
Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office is offering a free service to trailer or equipment owners on Friday, May 12, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
