Celebrate “March Madness” is on the calendar for the Golden Hearts at Laurenda’s Restaurant in Greer at 6 p.m. on March 27.
ABC seniors meet April 8 at 6 p.m. in the CLC for “Breakfast at Supper”. The guest for this meeting will be The Cornerstones.

Spring is finally in the air and many people are looking forward to doing activities outside as the weather gets warmer.

On Saturday, April 5, Springwell Church will be hosting a spring carnival from 2-4 p.m. that will be free for all ages in the community.

Growing up with just one sibling can sometimes seem too much, so imagine what it must be like to have 18 brothers and sisters.

The Board of Trustees at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary voted in February to name the new hall of mission at the Charlotte campus after Greer native, David Rogers.

The David M. Rogers Hall of Mission, which will break ground this spring, is part of the seminary’s building project, “Expanding the Boundaries.”

Two Bob Jones University students from the Greenville area were given “ADDY” awards for Creative Excellence by the Greenville chapter of the American Advertising Federation.

The senior adults at Apalache Baptist Church have scheduled a shopping trip March 18 to Hamrick’s in Gaffney. The group will eat lunch at Arby’s in Lyman.

A covered dish supper is planned for March 11 at Apalache Baptist Church Christian Life Center (CLC) at 6 p.m.  The guest speaker will be Pat Stephens. Seniors will hear Pat’s testimony.

Alicia Clayton loves selling Scentsy products, but the sales she makes from now until March 25 are especially important to the kids at Praise Cathedral, who will receive Clayton’s commission as part of their fundraising for Carolina KidsFest 2014.
