Well-known television and movie star Kirk Cameron is bringing his “Love Worth Fighting For” marriage tour to First Baptist Church North Spartanburg on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 6 p.m.

Wendy Campbell is the new Meals on Wheels Coordinator at Greer Community Ministries.

She joined the ministry in mid-December and will be in charge of supervising the 19 routes that volunteer drivers use to deliver over 300 hot meals to home bound seniors in the Greer area Monday through Friday.

This was a landmark year for New River Bluegrass, the native six-piece Greer band consisting of Barry Long (banjo, dobro), Mike Johnson (guitar), Dwayne Brown (bass), Mike Mullins (mandolin), Chuck Price (fiddle) and Andy Smith (guitar).
